Originally from Virginia, Ashley attended college in the DC Metro Area and graduated with a Master of Business Administration. While attending college, she and her business partner started a background screening and drug testing corporation. For over 15 years, Ashley served as the CEO of United States Homeland Investigations and grew the business into a multi-million dollar international corporation with multiple offices. Ashley met her husband while they were both serving as first responders at the 9/11 terrorist attacks at the Pentagon. She was assisting with federal law enforcement and her husband was serving in the US Army during that time. They are a proud military veteran family with friends and family who are still serving this country all over the world. In cooperation with the USO, Ashley co-founded a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for active-duty military members who were wounded and recuperating in the Wounded Warrior Hospital at Fort Belvoir, VA. In addition, she has served on multiple Boards and led numerous community organizations. She was Chairwoman, President, Vice President, and a Board of Directors for local DC Metro Area Chambers of Commerce. She also served for many years as the Vice-Chair of the Criminal Justice Board for the Alexandria City Council in Virginia. Ashley was honored as Enterprising Woman of the Year by Enterprising Women Magazine as well as honored with the Leadership in Business and Career Development Award from the City of Alexandria, and one of the Top 40 Business Owners Under 40 in Virginia. Her corporation, United States Homeland Investigations, was also listed on the Inc 5000 list for multiple years and won Business of the Year. Ashley and her family moved to the Colorado area back in 2016, which she counts as one of the best decisions they ever made as a family.
Before her move to Colorado, Ashley had an extensive background in real estate investment. She purchased her first investment property in 2003 and has been on that side of real estate for over 15+ years. She and her husband have flipped countless properties and still maintain multiple investment properties. With her extensive background in investment properties and local market knowledge, Ashley provides her clients with unique insights into many aspects of real estate in the Douglas County area. Ashley works with buyers, sellers, and investors throughout the area, focusing on the areas of Roxborough Park, Roxborough, Sterling Ranch, and Ravenna, as well as Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Ken Caryl, and Littleton. She also helps clients purchase mountain investment properties in Grand County.
Inside and outside of real estate, Ashley loves the outdoors and stays extremely active. Even when she isn’t conducting real estate transactions, she is always on the go. With her extensive background in business, as a first responder, in the military community, and law enforcement, Ashley regularly volunteers with first responders, military veterans, and women in business organizations, providing members with much-needed support. She currently lives in Douglas County with her husband, two children, and their two dogs, an English Bulldog and a German Shepherd. Ashley and her family like to spend as much quality time in the great outdoors as possible. In her spare time, you can find Ashley at the gym, skiing, downhill mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding, shooting archery, swimming, or playing golf. She loves activities with her family and enjoys socializing with friends near and far.
